In our yearly Maui visits, we venture into different non-beach spots on the island. Ocean Vodka added a delightful touch to our adventure, nestled on a scenic hillside with picnic tables for seating. The drinks and food, including mushroom pizza, fresh veggie spring rolls, and hamburgers, were delicious. Celebrating New Year's Eve there, accompanied by live jazz artists, made for a memorable experience. The setting is gorgeous during the day and night. Remember to bring a coat if you visit after 4 PM due to the temperature drop.

Everything about this place is awesome! Let's start with our guide, Pattie - hello, as far as guides go, it doesn't get any better! Humorous and kind and lovely - we absolutely loved her to pieces! The spirits were all very smooth and delicious! It's not every day that all of us like every spirit at a tasting, but Ocean really does a bang-up job on all of their products. The property is absolutely stunning! We may go back just to enjoy the view (and a cocktail) one of these nights! Say "hi" to Pattie if you get a chance to visit this delightful distillery.

Short 1/2hr drive up the mountain from Kihei area. It's a good spot to go for nice views and sampling some pretty decent spirits. Pricing is a little steep for what you get. Cafe setting is beautiful, but service and cocktails are quite mediocre compared to other places on the islands. Would have expected more, based on the branding of the distillery operations. Our guide for the tastings, Christine, was great and obviously enjoys what she is doing.

Did a taste testing and it was great! We got to keep the shot glass which was so cute. Very informative and fun. The view is absolutely breathtaking sun up or sundown. Sunset was so beautiful and the people preforming sounded so good. The waiters were nice and the food was delicious. Drinks were kind of weak and long lines for a drink. Would definitely recommend to come through

Whether you are a visitor or longtime kama'aina, you will be glad that you fit this place into your schedule for a relaxing and beautiful afternoon and evening. The food and spirits are delicious. The view is stellar; the environment is not the typical scene. The wait staff is friendly and at the same time will leave you to enjoy the company of your party.

A MUST STOP if in the area!! We went twice and received top-notch service on both visits. Every person that worked there was extraordinary. The service is excellent. The drinks are incredible, and so is the food. They have spectacular views, especially at sunset, and the live music was fantastic. They have a cute souvenir store, and they were very accommodating in answering questions and telling you about their distillery and tasting. They do close early, so be warned. They have an indoor AC area and a vast outdoor area with picnic tables and a stack of Adirondack chairs that you can put out wherever you like to enjoy the sunset, and they will come out and serve you and give you a number. I'd be here every weekend if I lived here! Great place!!!

So glad we came upcountry on our first afternoon in Maui to check out ocean. While we knew about their vodka, we were pleasantly surprised by their rums and incredible gin. The pretty bottles were also an added bonus. We did the tasting which took about 30 minutes, included a very thorough overview of their distillation process, and came with two keepsake shot glasses. After the tour, and after purchasing a bottle, we sat outside on the picnic tables and ordered some cocktails and snacks. We lucked out: it was Wednesday, which is sushi night! The fresh tuna was just the cherry on top of it all. Highly recommend you check out this place when you come to the island. Even when cloudy, the views are worth it.

We did a tour there with Sean last week and love it. The tour itself was very interesting and we learnt a lot about how the distillery came to be and about the process. Sean was so kind, easy to talk to and knowledgeable. Had a lot of fun and would recommend the tour to those visiting Maui! They have a beautiful location and a restaurant but we didn’t end up staying because it was heavily exposed to sun and we had our 10 month old with us. Everything looked super good though.
